Taking Care of Our Cows & Buffaloes

At Paggan Cattle Farm, our cattle’s health, comfort, and well-being come first. We give them a neat, roomy, well-ventilated space. Regular cleaning and fresh bedding at our dairy farm help our animals live in a hygienic environment that supports general well-being and prevents several diseases.

A wholesome diet of green grass, grains, and vital minerals guarantees our cattle’s health. Additionally, freshwater is available 24/7 for digestion and hydration. Vaccines and frequent veterinary visits protect our cattle against common diseases, guaranteeing a long and healthy life.

Our cattle are also handled carefully and gently to reduce stress and increase output.

Our Animal Care Standards are:

  • daily waste disposal;
  • balanced meals with vital nutrients;
  • fresh drinking water available 24/7;
  • routine veterinary exams and vaccines;
  • stress-free environment for happy, healthy cattle.
Correct Feeding for Our Cattle

Healthy cows produce the highest-quality milk. At our Dairy farm in Pakistan, we maintain a rigorous, balanced diet to guarantee their welfare and milk production. For fiber, our cows eat a mix of green fodder (grass, alfalfa, maize) and dry fodder (hay, wheat straw); for digestion, they take nutrient-rich concentrates (grains like barley and corn offer energy). We also add vital minerals—calcium, phosphorus, and salt — to their diet to improve milk quality and strengthen bones.

Our feeding schedule guarantees that cows—with particular regard for breastfeeding and pregnant cows—are fed twice or three times daily. We supply fresh, pure drinking water around the clock to preserve digestion and hydration.

Our Approach to Animal Nutrition Management

  • Energy-rich concentrates, green and dry foods in a balanced diet.

Getting Clean & Fresh Milk

Paggan Cattle Farm’s strict and hygienic milking techniques guarantee that our milk is fresh, clean, and of the highest quality. We are the Top Milk Suppliers in Pakistan and we maintain the standards. Before each milking session, we thoroughly clean and disinfect the udder using warm water to prevent contamination and preserve cleanliness. Cows are milked simultaneously daily to maintain a constant milk supply and lower stress.

We use hand and machine milking methods depending on the herd’s needs. Machine milking guarantees efficiency and a smooth, stress-free experience for the cows, while hand milking requires gentle, full-hand squeezing. After being gathered, the milk is filtered, kept in stainless steel containers, and chilled at 4°C (39°F) to maintain its freshness and natural nutrients.

Our Method of Cleaning Milk

  • Udder cleaning and sterilization before every milking session.
  • Regular milking pattern to preserve cow comfort and milk flow.
  • Either hand or machine, hygienic milking methods.
  • Stainless steel containers for milk filtration and storage
  • Freshness and quality depend on refrigeration at 4°C (39°F).
  • Frequent maintenance and cleaning of milking equipment and surroundings.
